Jay Wolter

President, Becket

Jay is the son of Becket's founder, John J. Wolter.  His commitment to Becket has been life-long. As a youth, Jay attended Becket for five years and participated in several Becket Adventures wilderness trips. As a young adult, Jay worked at the school before embarking on a legal career following his graduation from Georgetown Law School (cum laude). After practicing health law for several years, Jay returned to Becket in 1993 as President & Executive Director of the former Pike School. Jay renamed the school Becket School and began oversight of the transition of this small residential treatment program into what is now known as Becket. During his tenure, Jay has played a key role in the development of nearly fifty new programs and services. He has also founded the Oliverian School and the Mountain Valley Treatment Center, specialized providers that are no longer affiliated with the Becket. Jay resides in Hanover, NH with his wife, Colleen, and four boys, Shane, Christian, Ryan and Brendan.

Jeff Caron

President, MPA, VPI, Becket

Jeff has initiated best practices and supported program expansion throughout his 26 years with Mount Prospect Academy and the Vermont Permanency Initiative. A native of Peabody, MA, Jeff resides in Plymouth, NH with his wife of 25 years, Sarah, and their two children, Richard and Rebecca. Jeff’s leadership and innovative strategies have aided the development of MPA and VPI’s numerous new academic institutions, residential treatment facilities, sub-acute treatment programs, and enhanced residential treatment centers. VPI established the New England School for Girls and Vermont School for Girls under his leadership. Jeff has also collaborated with state and local agencies to develop a system of care in Vermont. He cultivated MPA and VPI to provide community-based services within VT, NH, and MA. VPI and MPA now students and families from NH, MA, ME, VT, NY, RI, and PA. In 2006, Jeff was awarded “New Hampshire Excellence in Education Award” in recognition of his leadership to ensure excellence in education in New Hampshire.
