Who We Are
Becket Family of Services Shared Services Team provides centralized support services to its member agencies.  Its staff includes individuals with expertise in human resources and HR management, payroll, time and attendance, fiscal management, accounts payable/receivable, grant development, policy development, information technology, legal services, Workers Compensation, Family Medical Leave Act, safety planning, and emergency preparedness.

David Chabot has served Becket Family of Services in a number of different roles for over fifteen years.  David joined Becket's Board of Trustees in the year 2000 and served as Chairman of the Board's Finance Committee and several ad hoc executive recruitment committees during the course of his tenure on the Board. In 2013, David changed hats and was hired as the Company's first Director of Legal Affairs. In his new role, David oversees the company's corporate governance and compliance matters, real estate and bank loan transactions, insurance and employment law related matters as well as a variety of state and federal regulatory matters. He also serves as the company's corporate Secretary. David graduated from Boston College with a bachelor's degree in finance and economics and earned his law degree from The National Law Center at The George Washington University.

Laura Eve-Cowles is Director of Policy and Program Support at Becket Family of Services. In that capacity, Laura provides oversight, training, and support to help individual programs meet compliance goals associated with federally mandated policies including: HIPAA, workplace safety, and emergency preparedness.  Laura earned her MEd and EdD in Leadership and Administration from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. Prior to joining Becket in 2017, Laura worked as a grant writer and development specialist for 30 years.

Tammy Olsen serves as Controller for the Becket Family of Services.  In that capacity, she oversees the operations of the accounting department, monitors internal controls, and ensures that proper accounting and recording of company transactions are performed in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).  Tammy has worked for Becket since 2004.

Bryant Patten is Chief Technology Officer of Becket Family of Services.  Prior to joining Becket in 2018, Bryant spent the many years developing educational software and hardware solutions for a variety of clients. He managed the engineering departments for several companies—including his own—and has won several awards for software design. He received the 2014 Frank Watson Outstanding Technology Educator Award for service, vision, and leadership and he is user-interface certified by the Nielsen Norman Group. Prior to coming to Becket, he founded a strategic technology project management company in the Upper Valley which provided long-range technology planning as well as risk and opportunity assessments for both for profit and not for profit organizations.  Bryant is a graduate of Dartmouth College and the Thayer School of Engineering.

Nathan has over 26 years of experience working in the non-profit field, with the last 19 years being in various senior level executive positions. He has managed community-based, in-home therapeutic programs and has managed residential services that included long term programs, 45-90-day assessment programs, and therapeutic foster care. Nathan also participated in the Massachusetts policy writing committee and evaluation team for the implementation of the Massachusetts Children Behavioral Health Initiative (CBHI). He holds a Master’s in Counseling Psychology (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. In September of 2016, Nathan joined Becket Family of Services as the Executive Director of Massachusetts. In September of 2018 he became the Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) for Becket Family of Services where he is responsible for assisting the President with developing, communicating, executing, and sustaining corporate strategic initiatives.

Mark Tecca is Chief Financial Officer for the Becket Family of Services, as well as Treasurer of the Corporation, and Member of the Board Finance and Strategy Committees.  Prior to joining Becket in 2017, Mark conducted analysis and management of diverse lines of business in technology, food, education and non-profit organizations.   Mark earned his AB in Government with Honors, from Harvard College in 1985, and an MBA from Dartmouth College’s Tuck School in 1993.  Mark is active in community organizations and enjoys choral singing, cycling, hiking, golf, tennis, skiing and ice hockey.  He and his wife of 29 years have raised three children.
